Louis Vuitton Sucks. Here's Why:
Ten reasons why Louis Vuitton is rubbish by Pretty Ugly Magazine.
1. Louis Vuitton bags look UGLAY, horrid, and dont match with clothing.
2. Louis Vuitton bags look cheap. Maybe because you can buy a copy in any market near you.
3. Louis Vuitton bags arent cool because WAGS think they are cool. nb. Victoria Beckham.
4. Louis Vuitton is owned by the same group that own Moet et Chandon and Hennessy. Those arent bad , but maybe with all that revenue , Louis Vuitton might be able to dish out some discounts on ugly suitcases. LVMH are just so damn greedy.
5. Louis Vuitton shamelessly employ celebs to promote the brand instead of actually designing products that are fashionable. Sofia Ford Coppola has recently proved herself as the next Christian Dior by ingeniously suggesting that LV incorporate mirrors into their handbags. (So What - they still look shit.)
6. Louis Vuitton once employed Andre Agassi to promote themselves.
7.Louis Vuitton bags really waste Marc Jacobs talent. (Designing a print made from a pre designed logo isnt really 'designing' - its stealing.)
8. Louis Vuitton - only for white people??? - Do you remember that cringe worthy moment in Sex in the City Movie, where the token black girl is rewarded with her 'Very Own Louis Vuitton Bag'? The loyal Mamie role is endowed with a Louis Vuitton bag, so that she no longer has to rent one. How stereotypical.
9. Louis Vuitton banned the Britney Spears video 'Do Something', for featuring an 'illegal' car emblazoned with the LV logo. Unforgivable.
10. Louis Vuitton steals from the poor. In Feb 2008, Louis Vuitton sued Danish artist Nadia Plesner for copying their logo. The artist had created T-Shirts in order to raise money for the crisis in Darfur. The T-Shirts featured a starving child holding a Louis Vuitton handbag. Plesner ignored Louis Vuitton's letter, and posted it on her website. For every day that Plesner continued to sell her 'Simple Living' T - Shirts, Louis Vuitton charged her $7,500 dollars. In addition the company have demanded the artist pay for the legal fees incurred plus an additional $15,000 dollars.
Louis Vuitton probably make most of their revenue from suing people as only 1% of all Louis Vuitton products sold, are real.
